Namaste & Welcome all you globetrotters to Nature’s big screen of Happy Lemontree Lodge. Where there is no need for a remote controller, no subscription fees and no cable provider..
Happy Lemon Tree Lodge is situated at the riverbank, overlooking Chitwan National Park. While staying at one of the suites, made entirely out of bamboo, you get to experience nature at its best. Sit down at one of our colorful tables and order homemade banana pancakes for breakfast. Read a book while relaxing in our hammock and get a chance to spot our daily visitor, Morgan the Croc. Ask us anything about the area or the park and we are more than happy to provide you with all you need to know and more.
We are an ecopreneur, a Chitwan based conservation-minded lodge, bringing you exceptional environmentally friendly living with nature and wildlife experiences. We are committed to responsible travel, and working towards a sustainable eco-tourism future in Nepal.
We at HAPPY LEMON TREE LODGE regard everything like the culture, the tradition, the society, the nature, the flora & fauna, the landscape, the weather, the conditions and the beauty and we intend to keep it that way for future generations to come. As proud as we are to show our country to our visitors, we aim to do so in a manner that preserves the unspoiled and fragile environment.
In our effort to run a sustainable eco-lodge we offer the following:
We carefully design our tours in a matter that our visits leave no permanent damage to the nature. As a responsible tour operator, we have strong environmental values and are passionate about our nature. We are committed to travel that does not place unnecessary strain on our nature’s precious resources. We encourage everyone taking part in our exciting challenge events to respect local ecosystems.
Poverty is a threat to conservation efforts and many areas near national parks or protected areas in Nepal are under threat from local communities who are desperate for food and land. Education is the key to social upliftment and alleviation of poverty and is one of the most important strategies in long-term conservation efforts. We believe that environmental sustainability of tourism is tied to social responsibility and educating local communities is one of the major important tasks in conservation. Education empowers people and opens the door to a better future. It is the only long-term solution to the problems of unemployment and poverty, which lie at the root of many other social ills in Nepalese society.
