Welcome to Happy Lemon Tree Lodge

Where Eco Meets Chic

Hand-built from bamboo, our lodge is a sanctuary for free spirits. Float in the bio pool, greet sunrise with yoga, and wander ethically into the wild.

Where to Stay

Things to Do

A Walk on the Wild Side

Take a gentle, ethical walk into the park with local naturalists who've known these forests for decades. Small groups, easy pace, and every step...

  • Mix, match, or shape your own — every walk is small, ethical, and led by local guides. Have a peek at our tours.

  • No elephant rides, ever. Just small groups, local guides, fair wages, and a light footprint left behind — the wild, on its own terms.

  • Born and raised in these jungles, our guides have spent thirty, forty years reading these forests like a favourite book.

Start Your Walk

Wellness & Yoga

Slow mornings, gentle yoga, and quiet moments to reset — all set among the trees, with birdsong as your soundtrack.

  • Start the day slow and easy with a yoga session as the forest wakes up around you.

  • Soften the day with a calming session as the light fades and the birds settle in.

  • Already a yoga teacher? We always welcome volunteer guides to lead a session — bring your style, share your practice, and trade a class for a stay.

Music, Movies & Good Times

Grab a drink, find a spot, and meet fellow travellers — open mic nights, karaoke, and movies on the big screen, the easy way to end the day.

  • Open mic on some nights, karaoke on others, and a film under the stars when the mood feels right. No fixed schedule yet — just whatever the evening calls for.

  • Travellers, musicians, storytellers — the stage is yours. Bring an instrument, a tune, or just your voice, and the table will fill up around you.

Made With Local Hands

Roll up your sleeves and spend an afternoon with the women of the village, mixing soaps, lotions, and natural repellents from things grown right here....

  • Soap bars, body lotions, and natural mosquito repellents — mixed by hand from herbs, oils, and bits and bobs grown around the lodge.

  • Every workshop puts a little extra income in the pockets of the women who run it — and sends you home with something useful, made together.
