How We Run Our Tours

Our tours are small, slow, and designed to feel less like sightseeing and more like spending the day with someone who actually lives here. You'll meet the village, walk the forest with people who grew up in it, and pick up the kind of things you don't find on a map.

5% of every tour goes to the local school — books, supplies, the small things that add up. A bit more goes back into the village in other quiet ways: the women's craft co-op, community projects, the odd thing that needs fixing.

Every guest also gets a free voucher for one of the women-led workshops at the lodge — soap-making, cooking, that sort of thing. Have a look at the weekly schedule and pick whichever one catches your eye.
