  • Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a refreshing welcome drink at the house. This is followed by a short in-person briefing session, where you will meet your birding guide and receive an introduction to the upcoming experiences. Together with the guide, you will review and prepare a target bird checklist, identifying key species to look for during the trip. This collaborative session helps organize observations and allows participants to keep track of sightings and birding records throughout the journey. In the late afternoon, head out for a sunset birding excursion around nearby habitats. This relaxed session offers a chance to spot the first birds of the trip while enjoying the peaceful evening atmosphere of Chitwan’s landscapes.

  • Early Morning: Start the day with an early morning canoeing excursion along the river, a peaceful and rewarding way to observe aquatic and riverside bird species. The canoeing trip lasts approximately three hours, allowing plenty of time to observe birds along the riverbanks and surrounding vegetation. During the excursion, guests will enjoy a breakfast in the jungle, offering a unique experience in nature before continuing the birding journey. After returning to the house, guests can rest and relax for a few hours before heading out again. Afternoon Birding: Later in the afternoon, travel to the 20,000 Lakes area, one of the region’s important wetland habitats. This area attracts a wide range of water birds and seasonal migrants, making it a productive birding location. Evening: Return to the house after the excursion and enjoy a relaxed evening.

  • After breakfast, embark on a full-day birding drive through Chitwan National Park. The park’s diverse landscapes provide excellent opportunities to observe forest and grassland birds while also keeping an eye out for larger wildlife species that inhabit the area. Throughout the day, your guide will help identify species, share ecological insights, and assist with updating your bird checklist. Following the excursion, guests will prepare for departure.
